Crafty Creations

“Crafty Creations a ‘create’ success”

We launched our Arts and Crafts project ‘Crafty Creations’ in September 2015, in conjunction with Grumpy and Ordsall Community Cafe. We ran a family day, where mums, dads and children were invited along to do some crafty makes and have some fun. We had lots of people come along including Roscoe (aged 3) and his mum Josie, from Ordsall. Here is Roscoe after he made a crown for himself!

Between September and December we had a crafty session every week, which was really well attended. The mums-and even grandparents at some sessions – had fun making Rag wreaths, Christmas cards, and decoupaged items (unique to Salford!)

Most importantly, the group learned about packaging and pricing their goods so that they could sell them at the Ordsall Cafe Christmas Market!
