We’re looking for passionate people to join our team for our project Stork Support, delivering baby essentials to families in need. These roles are part-time, for a period of 12 weeks, as we start a new phase of our covid-19 project.
We’re looking to hire a Packing and Support assistant to help us with developing the project in the areas of Little Hulton and Walkden in Salford. We need someone able to go shopping for us to get stock for the packages, be able to talk to local clients to arrange deliveries and other support, and able to work on their own initiative. Ideally you’d know the Little Hulton and Walkden areas so will have an idea of who we can link in with for this project. If you have access to your own vehicle/driving license, that’s a bonus too!

We’re also looking for a Project Administrator, to help co-ordinate the project to cover deliveries across Greater Manchester. You’ll be liaising with both clients and referral agencies everyday so will need to be confident on the phone and have a good level of written and spoken English. We are working towards becoming an accredited Living Wage Employer so all vacancies now and in the future will be paid at a minimum of £9.50 per hour. We are also hoping to be accredited by the Salford Mayor’s Good Employment Charter.
